2nd Tuesday Post

I had a little more time before I feel like I should go to sleep, so I thought this would be a good time to add pictures...Some go with today's blog and some are a little older. These are so out of order but I can't really rearrange them, so I apologize. (i think they get bigger if you click on them if they're hard to see)

Oh, side note to my parents- sorry that I keep cutting our conversations short, but I have been meaning to tell you....I think the director of this Washington Center program went to your college. I know he's from Montana, and occasionally he'll say "go bobcats!". I haven't talked to him one-on-one, but if I do, I'll ask him.

Producer of the DNC

Rev. Daughtry...favorite so far

Here is the Republican who hated Democrats and, more specifically, dumb Iowans who think they are better than they are. Always interesting to stir up a little emotion though, I think. I saw him lost in Downtown Denver later, and I wanted to say "guess it's not just Iowans who don't know much...aren't you from Colorado?"

My friend from Virginia, Ashley, and I at Red Rocks. Like the lanyards we have to wear? they're our "credentials" and they say by the end, everyones will be full of pins and buttons. We haven't gotten there quite yet, obviously :)

The Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Gorgeous day, gorgeous view, and visiting made me so grateful to be here!

The group I keep mentioning that I hang out with. L to R: Me, John (U of Iowa), Kyle (U of Iowa), Ashley, Bryce (U of Iowa) at Red Rocks

L to R: My roommate Katie (Kansas City), Ashley, myself on the quad at Regis University on the first full day

Same group out to dinner downtown Denver on our first night free...We explored downtown for a while and browsed a couple souvenir shops--gotta do the tourist thing of course! :)
On some old cannon in front of the courthouse
State Capital building
GOODNIGHT!
